Good Friends: 

In calling His disciples Jesus said, “Come, follow me.”  And so He calls each of us who would be His disciple.  The Christian Life is most often spoken of as a journey, and like all journeys it begins with one first step.  It is always the first step that counts.  And so through Holy Week we are invited to journey with Jesus, walking with Him in the way of His cross, finding it none other than the way of life and peace.  If we can manage one first step toward Jesus, and I pray that we can and will, He will walk with us all the way to Easter and Heaven itself.  May we all know that blessing. 

Pray for me as I do for you as we step out in faith this week to journey with Him, “Who entered not into glory before He first suffered pain,” our Savior and Crucified Lord, Jesus Christ.
