Friends:

At the start of the month of July, the month of the Precious Blood, may we be reminded of that sacrificial love that is poured out from the heart and side of Jesus on the cross, a love that seeks a place within our lives.  May it be our intention this month to offer our hearts to Him that we might grow in a Love more like His.  Aided by the prayers and example of Mary, His mother, and all of the saints may we be brought to that fullness of Love, the gift of His grace as we regularly partake of His Body and Blood in the blessed Sacrament.  Such a Love, “so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all,” and yours.

There are two Marian feasts celebrated this month: her Feast of the Visitation, on the 2nd; and that of her title as Our Lady of Mount Carmel, on the 16th.  It comes as a privilege to each of us to offer some act of devotion on these days as we honor her, grateful always for her part played in God’s plan of salvation as the Mother of His Incarnate Son, Jesus our Redeemer, Friend and Brother.

We welcome John Das of Saint Mary’s, Akron, as an Associate and await a time to be agreed upon for his admission.  Pray for him and for each other that we might be found faithful as Christians in all things good for our soul’s health.
