Friends:
May as you are aware is the “month of Our Lady,” named for her. I encourage that in your prayers and Mass intentions you invite the intercession of Our Lady for the success of the plans being made for our annual Walsingham Pilgrimage being made to her shrine under that title at Saint James on Saturday, June 10th. You will, of course, want to make every effort to make this pilgrimage once again and encourage others to join with you in coming to Mary’s shrine.
This coming Saturday, the 13th of May, the church keeps the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, celebrating this year the centennial anniversary of Mary’s apparition in Portugal to three children. It is a day calling us to special devotion and prayers of thanksgiving that Mary continues to make known her Son and His redemptive love to the eyes of the faithful.
Easter Blessings as we continue to sing of the joys of Mary when she beheld her risen Son and Savior.
